A rainbow of play possibilities is packed into these giant crayons. The crayons invite children to peek inside each crayon and discover different color-coded figurines to match, sort and play with imaginatively.
Target skills:
- Basic concepts - Help students identify the names of colors and objects, discover quantities, create sequences and understand spatial relationships such as beside, behind and in front.
- Math - An ideal way to introduce sorting and grouping. Add more fun by counting as each piece is dropped into a pencil tube, or create patterns with the objects to introduce AB patterns.
- Organization - Forty-eight objects separated into 8 tubes of crayons introduce the first organizational skills. Clean-up is part of the activity, with all objects placed in their respective crayons.
