The cherry-shaped nipple and light, matte shield are designed to mimic the shape of a mother's breast.

It is recommended by midwives to encourage natural breastfeeding, as the specific length and shape of the BIBS Colour pacifier gives baby the right technique for sucking at the breast.

The round, lightweight shield faces away from the baby's face to facilitate airflow to the sensitive skin around the baby's mouth.
